Mackenzie Maynard, B.A.

Mackenzie Maynard is a clinical psychology doctoral extern at California Counseling Clinics, working towards her Ph.D. at Fielding Graduate University. She utilizes evidence-based treatments and takes a patient-centered approach. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mackenzie is skilled in addressing a wide range of challenges faced by adolescents, adults, and older adults. She also embraces a Humanistic-Existential theoretical orientation, further enhancing her therapeutic practice. Mackenzie’s goal is to empower her clients through a holistic, multicultural, trauma-informed lens, allowing them to chart their own path toward reaching their highest potential. She places great emphasis on collaborating with clients, employing evidence-based interventions, and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment. In addition, Mackenzie holds experience working specifically with people on the Autism Spectrum. Mackenzie is excited to be a part of the clinical team at California Counseling Clinics, where she can apply her evidence-based expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients.
