    Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)

    Jessie Hynes is an APCC at CCC. She earned her Master’s in Counseling from Northwestern University and completed her undergraduate work at Westmont College where she earned her teaching credentials and taught Special Education. Jessie is passionate about providing mental healthcare to people across the lifespan and of all abilities. She has almost two decades of experience with people with disabilities, which piqued her interest in providing mental health support. Her specialties include mood disorders, family relationships, trauma and complex trauma, grief, and child and adolescent counseling. She has a growing interest in learning about multicultural backgrounds and in aiding the accessibility of services to mental health care in our community. She believes that each person deserves an empathic listener to partner in their healing journey.
