    Dr. Isabela França is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. França provides therapy in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Originally from Brazil, Dr. França has lived internationally in Japan, Spain, Argentina and Bolivia before settling in the United States. She has specialized training and experience in various brief therapy models, risk and crisis management, and training and supervision. Dr. França’s approach is holistic and collaborative, integrating various therapy approaches tailored to client needs and readiness. Areas of interest include mood and emotion regulation, interpersonal conflict, acculturation and identity, and trauma. In all cases, Dr. França is firmly grounded in her values: authenticity, genuine care and warmth. She strives to help clients create meaningful and lasting change. Dr. França obtained her doctorate degree from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at UCSB.
