    Almeria Vom Steeg is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at California Counseling Clinics. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice. Almeria is committed to helping individuals improve their relationships and overcome psychological symptoms, with a therapeutic approach rooted in a systemic and relational perspective. That said, she relies on evidence-based behavioral approaches such as CBT and ACT. With a strong background in communication, Almeria is passionate about improving interpersonal functioning for individuals, couples, and families. 

    At our clinic, Almeria is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to her patients as they navigate life’s challenges. She believes that by highlighting patient strengths, collaboratively, she can help to build resilience. Her expertise in clinical therapy allows her to help individuals achieve meaningful progress toward a healthier and happier life.

    When not collaborating with patients, Almeria enjoys spending time with her husband of nearly 32 years and making plans to visit their four adult sons.
