Kyla Kaatz, BA
Kyla Kaatz, B.A., (she/her), is a clinical psychology extern at California Counseling Clinics, gaining supervised clinical hours. Kyla has previous clinical training from working in a Crisis Residential Treatment Program, where she utilized CBT, Mindfulness, and Solution-Based approaches. Additionally, she has specialized training grounded in ABA principles, which she continuously adapts and grows as the literature evolves. Kyla is particularly passionate about working with women on issues such as anxiety, eating behaviors, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. She believes in a patient-centered approach, where her patients’ goals and needs are at the forefront of their work together. She aims to empower individuals to achieve personal growth and improved well-being. Kyla is especially interested in the physiological effects of the menstrual cycle and how they intersect with mental health. This ongoing curiosity helps her stay informed about the latest insights and best practices. She looks forward to supporting individuals on their journey toward a healthier and more fulfilling life!
