Dr. Levitan is the Psychological Assessment Specialist at California Counseling Clinics. She also supervises the assessment training component of the pre-doctoral internship program at CAPS of UCSB. She has expertise in comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and has experience in advocating for children and families within the school systems. Dr. Levitan utilizes a therapeutic assessment approach that invites the individual into the assessment process as a collaborator and expert on themselves. She utilizes a strength-based, holistic approach to treatment, taking into account the many systems the individual is embedded within.
