  • Elizabeth Finnerty, PhD

    Post-Doctoral Clinician

     

    Dr. Finnerty is a pre-licensed psychologist. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents find solutions during challenging times. Elizabeth has experience conducting psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessments, as well as delivering behavioral, academic, and crisis interventions with children, adolescents, and young adults in school and residential settings, multiple college campuses, as well as inpatient and outpatient clinics. Elizabeth’s approach to therapy is client-centered, recognizing the importance of a collaborative, trusting relationship between the therapist and client. She utilizes evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients find peace. She strives to tailor treatment to the individual needs of each client and creates a non-judgmental, safe space.
