  • Dr. Elizabeth Finnerty, MA, MS, Ph.D.

    Post-doctoral Staff Psychologist

    Dr. Finnerty is a post-doctoral clinician working under the direct supervision of Dr. Alix Robinson. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents find solutions during challenging times. Elizabeth has experience conducting psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessments, as well as delivering behavioral, academic, and crisis interventions with children, adolescents, and adults, in school and residential settings, multiple college campuses, as well as helping people across the lifespan in inpatient and outpatient clinics. Dr. Finnerty’s approach to therapy is patient-centered, recognizing the importance of a collaborative, trusting relationship between the clinician and the patient. She utilizes evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches to help patients find peace. She strives to tailor treatment to the individual needs of each client and creates a non-judgmental, safe space.
